Trailers: The Danish Girl, Macbeth and Concussion

This week brought the release of trailers for some highly-anticipated (read: Oscar bait) movies, including The Danish Girl, about the first person to undergo gender reassignment surgery, in theaters November 27; Macbeth, the latest film adaptation of the Shakespearean tragedy, in theaters December 4 (unconfirmed); and Concussion, about discovering the true damage concussions and other on-field injuries have on NFL players, in theaters December 25. (Note about Concussion: leaked emails from Sony say the film was "softened" to avoid the NFL's wrath, which seems antithetical to the point of film. The filmmakers say, though, that the edits were made for the veracity of the film. You decide. Rolling Stone has more.)

The Danish Girl, starring Oscar and Tony winner Eddie Redmayne (Red, The Theory of Everything)

Macbeth, starring Michael Fassbender (12 Years a Slave) and Marion Cotillard (Inception)
